The Mallon Street Library will be six times the size of the current building, which is off Redmond Square.
It will have the most modern technology and access to electronic information as well as space for a generous library collection and dedicated areas for library activities. Part-funded by the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, Wexford County Library project will cost about 7 million Euro. The total project will take two years and the library is expected to be open in early 2012.
